    Hi Ma’m,

It is a very nice article with the score vs colleges details at one place. This will give the aspirant fair idea of where (s)he can apply. Would it be possible to include the work ex details of the students in these colleges.

    Regards
    SK

Good work dude! But the table is skewed and little hard to read the relative mapping. Would it be possible for you to put into a nice table as you did for work experience article?

    Hi Dagny,

This is really helpful. One doubt…

Would you say that for an IIM (Indian IT Male) the target collg (one with realistic chances) shld be the ones having GMAT Score 20 points less than one’s GMAT score. I mean I knw Gmat is not the ‘only’ factor, but this is a very general trend that comes out based on past admissions.

    Your thoughts?

    Thanks for all your help.

    Hi Vivek,

Can say that. But that would be a huge genralization to make. As you know that your application is not only about a GMAT score. Your recommendation letters, essays, GPA, awards& accolades, promotions, interviews etc. together make a complete application.

So don’t focus only on the GMAT score, rest f the things also play a big role in getting you an admission.

    Hi Bhavin,

All I would say is that you prepare again and retake the GMAT.

    Dear Dagny,

Am in a bit of a dilemma. I am just on the border of the 700+ club with 700 (49Q, 35V). Have a decent story on the essays (top 3 consulting firm, 3.5 GPA, engineer from top institute in India).

However, am a bit skeptical of the GMAT score esp. given that i want to go for the top 2-3 schools.

What do you recommend? Should i take the plunge and do it again?

    AJ
