2. Is the natural number N a perfect square? (1) N  50 and N + 50 are both perfect squares. (2) N + 25 ends in 71.






3. In a circle, chords AB and CD intersect at point P, as shown in the figure. It is known that AP = 2 and CP = 10 units. What is the length of AD?

(1) PD = 1 unit.

(2) BC = 8 unit.







4. The marks that four students achieved in their English paper were in the ratio 2 to 3 to 5 to 6. One of the four students received 30 marks in the paper. Which of the following CANNOT be the total number of marks that the four students achieved in the English paper?






5. The weights w1, w2, w3, …, w16, w17 of 17 hockey players are all distinct natural numbers such that w2 - w1 = w3 - w2 = w4 - w3 = … = w16 - w15 = w17 - w16. What is the total weight of these 17 players?

(1) w132 - w52 = 244

(2) w9 = 61
