In our daily lives we often come across situations where our common perception and associations of experiences vis-à-vis objects around us help us overcome them. But the moment we confront situations labelled ‘EXAMS’, we start relying on roting and mugging, instead of applying our brains. With a little insight in logic, it is easy to see that all the B-School entrance exams focus on gauging the ‘aptitude’ of the students.
Sometimes when we have nothing to do, we become inactive. But the subconscious mind keeps doing the things which give it pleasure. After the CAT - 2010, Tathagat office is busy in GD-PI prep for all the call getters. Although we have started our classroom batches for CAT - 2011 and are going to start our first batch for CAT - 2012 from this April, still TG.
We are
planning to put up a series of informatory topics over the next few weeks to
pep up your preparation for the most important part of your selection, the GDs
and PIs. Now, you would be dealing with students who have already been
filtered, so though the conversion ratio is higher here, the margin of error is
definitely much less compared to the other stages of selection.
The CAT
season is over with the results being declared. We request all of you to post
your scores here in the following format. This would help us provide pointed
support in helping you convert your calls and prepare robustly for your
interviews.

Tech from IIT Roorkee. After a brief foray in the corporate sector, he found his natural calling in training the field management entrance examination where he has firmly ensconced himself for the last eight years.
Hmmm... I wonder if any of our students were brave enough to take CAT 2010 on the first day itself but one never knows. After the fiasco last year, we would be hoping that this year's CAT goes smoothly for all the candidates. But then again, who knows. Maybe Prometric and IIMs still need to learn a lot.
